705 Canal St

 One store off the corner of the French Quarter side of Canal and Royal, 705 Canal Street in New Orleans was my father’s favorite location.  It was a fixture of my childhood.  My favorite Saturdays were those spent with my Dad on the floor of the store.  Inspecting the cases of merchandise to see what was new and exciting. Rows and rows of watches, sunglasses, cameras, Walkmen, and tvs.  I loved watching the customers browse and their excitement when they found what they were looking for.  I made my first sale behind those counters.  It was thrilling
