An Evening at Nowak’s
An Evening at Nowak’s
A true labor of love and a milestone in my artistic journey, this piece represents my debut into the realm of massive artworks, stretching an impressive 11 feet in length. Proudly displayed on the walls of Nowak's Sandy Springs restaurant, this painting holds a cherished place in my heart. As you immerse yourself in its captivating canvas, you'll uncover a trove of hidden treasures—some intimately personal, while others celebrate the nostalgia of pop culture. Embark on an enchanting journey of exploration as you delve into the depths of this artwork, allowing its secrets to unfold and inspiring wonder in your soul.
An Evening at Nowak’s began with a text from Lynda Mahana. She had a vision for the walls of Nowak’s Sandy Springs. One filled with color and characters and it needed to be BIG. Charged with developing a bustling restaurant scene spanning 11 feet long, I pulled inspiration from personal memories, pop culture, and Atlanta icons. From the banquettes to the bar, each table, each diner has a story to tell.
